20 May 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Oudinot's orders were to arrange his XII Corps on the far right and get across the Spree and attack the Allied left. He found little to no opposition initally but Tsar Alexander became alarmed at his approach and committed troops of the Reserves to stop his advance. This fell right into Napoleon's plans to draw troops from the Allied right so that Ney could turn the Allied flank and cut them off from their supply lines. For Oudinot it just meant that his corps would be fighting an uphill battle against large numbers of troops! His corps was able to accomplish their mission nonetheless driving the Allies back on their second line.
