The movements of the Austrian III and IV Corps were such that several battalians were stripped away leaving each with approximately one half to three quarters of their original strength. The IV Corps in fact was found to only have about ten battalians ready to assault Gudin's division near Saalhaupt. This scenario allows the Austrian player to perform as he wishes whether he will attack in strength or act as Rosenberg and Charles did during the battle - wait and see what will develop from early attacks. The entire French III Corps will be available to the French player.
