23 December 1806 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - The first of the Wkra River crossings was at Biezun north of Plonk. Grouchy's dragoon division, part of Bessiere's II Cavalry Corps, crossed the river and part of the 6th Dragoons dismounted and took up position to defend the village of Karnyszyn against GM Diercke's Prussians. Biezun was a natural location for the Prussians to attack as it was the logical place for the Russians and Prussians to link up. The Prussians attacked the village and drove out the light companies but the French 3rd Dragoons came up and attacked the advancing enemy cavalry. The 6th Dragoons performed a flank attack from out of the village and drove the Prussian cavalry away. The French had held off the Prussian attack, more French cavalry arrived to secure the position and from here on out the Allies were strictly on the defensive. NOTE: There is no supply wagon for the Allies. This was an "ad hoc" situation and no resupply will be available for their infantry.
