11 June 1807 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - While the battle raged at Heilsberg the Russians under Essen east of Ostroleka were on the move to attack Massena's V Corps. On the 11th of June they struck at Suchet's division and drove the 1st brigade commanded by GB Claperède back from their position at Olszewo. Suchet arrived with reinforcements to help stop the Russians from driving any further south. The next day would see Massena arrive with the bulk of the V Corps and drive the Russians back to Ostroleka. For now the Russian bear had struck and the French were forced to retreat. They could claim a minor victory at a time when any kind of boost in morale was needed.
