14 June 1807 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Napoleon held his troops in readiness and great suspense to make the grand assault on the Russian line. He gave the order to Ney at 5pm to make his attack on the Russian left. Victor would join the assault by 6pm. The French troops had been kept in suspense but now were set loose on the Russians hemmed in by the confining terrain. For the next four hours the French and Russians would fight but in the end Napoleon would prevail over Bennigsen's troops. By 10pm the French were masters of Friedland. Note: Losses have been deducted from and fatigue points added to the units reflecting the effects of combat over the course of the battle. The players will note that the Russian Jagers in the Sortlack Woods have been able to recover some of their fatigue points from the earlier fighting in the morning.
