14 June 1807 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Following the attack by Ney's VI Corps, the Russian Garde (approximately 2 regiments plus supports) counterattacked the French forces of Dupont's division advancing on Friedland. This was Benngisen's last hurrah. With banners flying high they marched into the cauldron. A brief clash developed as Dupont's men fixed bayonets and charged. The Russian Garde was sent reeling back to Friedland. The last offensive action of the Russian army in the south was over. This scenario highly favors the French player and was only included for historical interest. Try one of the variant scenarios for a more challenging experience for the French player. Note: Losses have been deducted from and fatigue points added to the units reflecting the effects of combat over the course of the battle.
