14 June 1807 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - The attack on the Allied left had been a brutal affair but the French army had broken the Russian lines and were moving on Friedland. Now the French left wing made their attack. WIth Mortier and Grouchy attacking in concert with Ney and Victory, the Russians were eventually hemmed in against the Alle River. The issue was never in doubt and only because of a ford that the cavalry located were any of the forces in the north able to escape. Many perished in an attempt to swim the river. The bridges in Friedland had already been burned. Many prisoners were taken. This scenario heavily favors the French. Note: 1. There is a hidden ford located on the map which has a map tag showing its location. This ford uses the "Rail" terrain type. See the Parameter Data or WEC.PDF for the movement costs. 2. Note: Losses have been deducted from and fatigue points added to the units reflecting the effects of combat over the course of the battle.
