14 October 1806 (Alternate) Napoleon has massed his army in a perlious position. With his back to the Saal River he must fight uphill to gain valuable breathing space. A thick fog covers the field til 10am. By then the Prussian army will be involved in the climatic battle of the war. The French player will have to do better than Napoleon in order to win. This version of the historical battle sceanrio #03h. The Battle of Jena is for those that believe that the French Imperial Guard Cavalry were not at the battle (Hourtoulle's work Jena-Auerstedt - The Triumph of the Eagle differs with Chandler's Osprey title Jena 1806 - Napoleon Destroys Prussia). No changes were made to the victory conditions. Intended for head to head play.
