The allies simply bulldozed into the village and caused a mass rout. They then turned on my guns with infantry and masses of cavalry. It was all over by turn 6.
If the Allies can get cavalry into the French gun line then it's all over.
It seems to be vital for the Allies to overrun the French guns. These points saved the draw.
The allies have more men but the Poles have more guns and geography is in their side.
The Poles have fewer men but more artillery and a good position. The trick for the allies is to advance on Markleeberg without getting bombarded. The large amount of Allied cavalry is only good if you can break through.
Not too much room to manoeuver for the French player, but a good exercise of village defense in a short scenario
The French have the advantage of position and artillery. Opponent took to village but lost too many men in the process.
