23 August 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Important: Uses 15 Minute Turns - Bertrand's mission on Oudinot's march to Berlin was to guard the right flank and provide support to Reynier's center column. On the day of the great battle he was unsure of his surroundings and as a result was timid in his approach march to Blankenfelde. As a result when his IV Corps met up with the Prussian 4th Corps under Tauentzien he only committed one division to the project and made little to no attempt to discover what Reynier was up to. The assault came to a grinding halt after only a short period of action and for the rest of the day his force would sit inactive while Reynier bore the brunt of the assault. This is the historical action as it occured on the day of battle. Heavily favors the Allies and is included more as a historical reference than as a balanced situation. The French should be commanded by the more veteran player.
