26 August 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Important: Uses 15 Minute Turns - After the morning assault on Dresden the Allies halted and prepared for the main assault to begin at approximately 4pm. The Allied leaders were undecided about the attack and just prior to the time to begin a great cry came up from the city, "Vive l'Emperor!" Napoleon was being greeted by his Young Guard who were beside themselves with joy over being able to attack under the eyes of their beloved leader. Before the Allies could halt the attack the signal cannon sounded and the assault was underway. Note: Uses Emplaced artillery for the Marcolini Fort and the five redoubts in front of the city.
