16-19 October 1813 - Alternate - Intended to be played Head to Head - Important: Uses 15 Minute Turns - All during the Fall Campaign, Bernadotte had been exercising caution when action was needed and was keeping his Swedish forces out of the battles as much as possible. His fellow Allies (especially the Prussians) were much displeased with his lack of action. This version of the scenario assumes that Bernadotte decided that a threat to his line of communications existed and that he would not march to the sound of the guns at Leipzig. A heated von Bülow would instead disobey orders and head south to help out with the Army of Silesia. Bernadotte's firey comment is, "Well let it be on your own head if your command gets shattered!" They will arrive more to the west of their historical arrival location and fall under Blücher's command structure. (note: under the Prussian Army of the North the 3rd Corps will not have a strength value as a result - for 3rd Corps look under the Army of Silesia). Both players will eventually exit their entire army from the map. The Allies must make sure that they use the proper exit hex that matches the nationality of the counter color: 0,24 Green Flag - Russian; 0,25 Orange Flag - Austrian; 0,27 Black/White Flag - Prussian; 0,28 Blue Cross/Yellow background Flag - Sweden. Victory is determined who holds the victory objectives at the end of the scenario (more than likely the Allies), the net difference between losses and the net difference between the troops exited.
