19-24 August 1813 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - Important: Uses 15 Minute Turns - This large map operational level scenario depicts the tense days just after the end of the armistace following the Spring Campaign when the French under Oudinot moved on Berlin. Both sides were undecided as to what their advesaries would do. Bernadotte commanded the Army of the North. Oudinot commanded the Army of Berlin. The French would not enjoy unity of command as Oudinot preferred to stay aloof and thus while the Allies are separated by nation in their part of the order of battle, the French suffer from a lack of army level direction. Additional formations were added to the order of battle but are not used in this version of the campaign. See the Bonus-6 scenario if interested in playing with more forces. The goal of this scenario for the French player is to destroy the enemy and take key terrain objectives near Berlin. NOTE: the Swedish army will FIX at certain times during the battle to reflect the lack of resolve of Bernadotte to commit them to battle.
