Battle of Boonville (What-if) -- In this scenario, Lyon delays his attack on the MSG forces assembling at Boonville and Camp Bacon (just east of Boonville). This allows time for the Southern forces to consolidate their position in central Missouri and gather even more recruits. By mid-July General John C. Fremont arrives at the front with reinforcements to attack these burgeoning State Guard camps along the Missouri River.
