THE BATTLE OF BEAVER DAM CREEK (also known as Battle of Mechanicsville or Ellerson's Mill) - (JUNE 26, 1862) --- HISTORICAL DAY 2 --- Lee's plan for the 26th called for three divisions to cross the Chickahominy and move down its left bank toward Porter's V Corps, then isolated north of the river. Meanwhile, Stonewall Jackson's Valley command was to sweep down from the north and turn the Federals out of their immensely strong advanced position at Beaver Dam Creek. Though a battle at the creek was not contemplated, communications were poor and misunderstandings abounded. The Confederates ended up committing their forces piecemeal to an ill-advised frontal assault on McCall's V Corps division of Pennsylvania Reserves. It was a frustrating mini-disaster for the new commander of the Army of Northern Virginia.

A fun scenario with a deensive on one flank and an offensive option on the other for both sides.
Union has a lot of objectives to defend.
