This scenario represents the arrival of both armies converging at a point near the Globe Tavern. Union troops sent to destroy the Weldon Railroad and advance toward Petersburg, and Confederate troops determined to prevent both of these Union objectives. First to arrive will be Griffin's Division, followed by Ayers. They will soon meet Confederate cavalry and Heth's infantry.
