(W stands for Weather data is used) In this scenario, CSA General George Pickett has been given the task of defending the line from east to west with the center being known as the Five Forks. The order from General Lee reads "Hold Five Forks at all hazards." Supporting him will be General Fitzhugh Lee's cavalry corps and several batteries of artillery. Opposing this Confederate force is General Philip Sheridan. This Union force of five divisions, will outnumber the Confederates by better than 2-1. As the Confederate commander, you must use the terrain and your defensive positions to help overcome the Union numerical superiority. And above all, defend you flanks, General Sheridan is a veteran cavalry commander and will no doubt use his cavalry to surround your position, and destroy your force. As the Union commander, you must seek out the rebel weak points, exploit them, and crush this rebellion without further delay. A Union victory here will certainly help bring an end to this long siege, and costly war. Historical Note: During the Civil War, it occurred many times where one commander would take temporary command of another commander's unit or units. For this battle, two brigades belonging to B.R. Johnson's Division, Wallace and Ransom, were attached to George Pickett's Division.
