(Play as CSA, W stands for Weather data is used) Sailor's Creek could also be known as the penultimate battle of the Civil War. Having abandoned the defense of Peterburg and Richmond, General Robert E Lee was attempting to move the remnants of his army east, in the hopes of joining with General Joseph Johnston's Army of Tennessee in North Carolina. If successful, Lee hoped to continue the war until the North became too weary and sued for peace. Divided into a three part battle, this portion of the Sailor's Creek battle is known as the battle for Lockett's Farm. Here Gordon's Confederate 2nd Corps was tasked with the mission to see the army's wagon train safely moved across the double bridge at the lower portion of Sailor's Creek, and rejoined with the main army in retreat. In pursuit was Humphreys's II Corps. It seems that only darkness and Gordan can now save the wagons from falling into Union hands. In order to simulate the Union mission of capturing the supply wagon before darkness can prevent their escape, they have been fixed in place. The win, the Union must capture the supply wagons. Your task is to protect the supplies needed to continue the fight. NOTE: Several of the Confederates regiments (a common Civil War practice) have been consolidated to enhance their fighting ability. Also, as this scenario is supply wagon centric, they are been emplaced to prevent movement. Lastly, as the Union moves first, the CSA's first movement will be on turn 2.
