(Historical) Following their defeat at New Market, Union forces, now under the command of Maj. Gen. David Hunter, advanced to engage the Confederate just north of Piedmont. This rapid action caught the Confederates off guard, and only a small force of 5,000 men, were available to stop this Union advance. In this scenario, the burden of attack should be with the Union. Take command of you troops and let the fighting begin.
