(Historical) This scenario recreates the Battle of Cedar Creek, after the over running and rout of Thoburn's Division. The Union troops have heard the shooting, and have been roused out of their tents. Though still early in the morning, with fog limiting overall visibility, the Union troops of Emory's 19th Corps, and Ricketts' 6th Corps (Rickett's has temporarily taken over 6th Corps, with General H. Wright in overall command of the army, in the absence of General Sheridan), have formed a defensive line and await the coming Confederate onslaught. This battle will ultimately decide the fate of the Shenandoah Valley, and perhaps, even the fate of two nations fighting for survival.
