May 2-3, 1863 -- After the Union victory at Port Gibson, Grant advances on Vicksburg from Hankinson's Ferry. The Confederates scramble to assemble a strong defensive line east of Warrenton and centered on Redbone Church.

The burden of attack is entirely on the Union in this one, and the scenario's tempo will largely be determined by the Union player. It isn't one for the faint of heart- but none in Vicksburg really seem to be.

I gave it a well balanced, mainly because it seems like I was able to rotate my defenders from the few creek crossing and where I was pressed -if I was pressed harder I think I would have had to have given way which could have been an entirely different result.
