21-22 May 1809 - What if Charles had vacilated over whether to attack? What if the bridges had held and Davout would have been able to arrive later in the evening of the 21st? Reinforcements for both sides will arrive at all hours of the battle. Austrian Columns will arrive at odd hours reflecting the lack of resolve on the part of Charles. As usual the objective of the Austrians is to deny the French a lodgement on the northern bank of the Danube.
