21 May 1809 (H) - Aspern Villiage was a key defensive point in Napoleon's bridgehead across the Danube. Its loss could unhinge his entire line. General d' Division Molitor of Massena's IV Corps was entrusted with its defense. This first assault was minor and unsupported. The second assault was more determined. The remainder of Molitor's division arrived to stem the tide and hold the villiage. This small scenario is intended to help the gamer that is new to the game to get acquainted with infantry tactics. It also serves to help educate the players to the first actions in the battle.
