The Battle of Quatres Bras - June 16, 1815 - Historical - Ney is present near Quatres Bras. He has been given the task of taking the vital crossroads there. Ney has been given Reille's II Corps reinforced with cavalry. He also believes he has been promised the assistance of D'Erlon's I Corps. The Allied troops defending Quatres Bras don't look too numerous. Ney is hesitant because knows of Wellington's penchant for masking his army by placing them on the reverse slope. Wellington expects to receive assistance all day from troops who are making the long trek to the battlefield.

Not a lot of room to move around. Set piece battle with the Brits needing reinforcement in the nick of time.

Allies have few choices early on. Ensure Gemioncourt is well garrisoned and find good positions for their artillery.
Initial reinforcements should be sent to form second line as 1st/2nd Bde will not stand long but also to watch left flank.
French must move quickly. Cavalry can be used to flank but must be supported with some infantry.
