Scenario Briefing: At the beginning of 1124, King Baldwin II was a captive of the Seljuks. Later that year, he was released after agreeing to pay a huge ransom. Not long after, he reneged on paying this ransom due to a pretext he and others conjured up. Baldwin being Baldwin, wasted little time after returning and organized an army to lay siege to Aleppo. As Aleppo was a strongly fortified walled city, Baldwin failed to force its surrender after a 3-month siege and was forced to leave the area as a relieving force led by Aq-Sunqur il-Bursuqi was not far from arriving. With Baldwin's retreat from Aleppo, Aq-Sunqur il-Bursuqi felt emboldened and decided to lay a siege of his own. His choice was the city of Azaz.

Upon hearing this news, King Baldwin immediately organized a relieving army and marched to return the favor given to him by Aq-Sunqur il-Bursuqi when he relieved Aleppo. But Aq-Sunqur il-Bursuqi did not leave and with an army that vastly outnumbered Baldwin's army by about 3-1, he was confident of victory.

This is your chance to take on Aq-Sunqur il-Bursuqi and save Azaz. The battle starts just before the break of dawn. Do not move you men into line formation before Dawn otherwise your men will become disordered. Now, lead your men to victory!
