Scenario Briefing: Since the fall of Jerusalem in 1099 there has been little to no peace. Every Christian went to sleep fearing a new battle and every Muslim wanted revenge for the loss of the holy city. During this uneasy time leaders on both sides fought battles that resulted in little gain for either Christian or Muslim. Both waited for a time to wage a new war that would further their cause. In 1127 a new Seljuq Turk came to power. A man that would prove to be a powerful military and political leader. He was Imad al-Din Zengi.
Zengi came to power in Mosul in 1127 and up to 1137 his time was spent consolidating his power against rival Seljuk warlords. Now it is time for Zengi to turn his attentions to defeating the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem. His first effort would be capturing the castle at Ba'rin.
Having received a message from Raymond II, Count of Tripoli to come and fend off the attacking Seljuks under the command of Zengi, King Fulk of Jerusalem sent both knights and foot soldiers to Ba'rin and took personal command.
Historically, the battle was a decisive victory for Zengi and his Seljuks. How will your battle be resolved. Will it again be a Seljuk victory, or will King Fulk and the Kingdom of Jerusalem prevail. Choose your side and let the battle begin.
Note: to destroy the inner wall of the castle, you must first breech the outer wall. Then you can use you siege engine catapults to breech the inner wall.

Intended to be played as the Islamic Alliance forces against the Crusader Alliance A/I or Head-to Head.
