Scenario Briefing: Having moved his army from Constantinople to continue the Second Crusade's mission, Conrad III, King of the Holy Roman Empire, passed through the town of Dorylaeum in October 1147. Conrad, being impatient, decided to travel into Seljuk lands without the army of King Louis VII of France in accompaniment.
With Conrad's army being low on supplies and on the verge of retreating, the army of Mesud I, sultan of the Sultanate of Rum, attacked. From the surrounding hills, thousands of mounted archers poured arrows into the ranks of the surprised Crusaders. How will this battle end? Will the German Crusaders gain victory as did the French Crusaders of 1097, or will the Seljuks achieve their revenge?
