Scenario Briefing: Following his encounter with the Seljuks from the Sultanate of Rum near Ephesus, King Louis VII's victorious army continued their journey with a greater degree of confidence. This confidence would be tested again in the Meander River Valley. Here again, King Louis will have to do battle with the Seljuks and their deadly mounted archers. The battle you are about to fight will depict King Louis' vanguard with Louis himself in command, against 4 banners of Seljuk's led by Rukn al-Din Masud I, sultan of Rum. The crusaders must ford the Meander River and capture the high ground. In doing this, Masud's army will be forced to withdraw and the rest of the French army will be able to safely continue to Jerusalem. This will not be an easy task as Seljuks occupy positions on both sides of the river and outnumber the crusaders.

Intended to be played as the Crusader Alliance against the Islamic Alliance A/I, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head.
