2230 February 19, 1942. Japanese forces have landed in the vicinity of Sanur. ABDA forces have been sent to intercept and perhaps break up the landing. Failing that, the ABDA force is to prevent the Japanese withdrawal to the northeast. Difficulties in making a rendezvous led to the ABDA force arriving in three waves.
