0625 22 September 1914. While patrolling the 'Broad Fourteens' the U-9 found three obsolescent British Cressy-class armoured cruisers in its sights. She fired all torpedoes in her tubes and reloaded underwater. All three cruisers went to the bottom, taking 1459 British sailors with them. See overlay file "Attack of U-9.bmp".
