1200 8 August 1914. Rear Admiral Souchon had orders to breakthrough to Constantinople. After a quick stop for coal at Messina The Austrians were unwilling to sortie from the Adriatic and so the Goeben and the Breslau were on their own in the open waters of the Mediterranean. The British First Cruiser Squadron lay ahead of them and the battlecruisers Indefatigable and Indomitable are lurking in the area as well. First Cruiser is under orders not to engage a superior force, but to hopefully delay the Germans until the battlecruisers can come up and bring their big guns to bear. **The scenario makes use of deployment boxes. All ships start on a fixed course until the enemy is spotted. It is expected that initially the game will be run at high speed.** Best as the British vs German AI or HTH.
