June 4, 1942. The Doolittle Raid on Tokyo ended a period of Japanese debate over their future strategy. Their new goal was the elimination of the United States Fleet. It was decided that attacking the Central Pacific Island of Midway would be the perfect bait to draw the outnumbered US Navy to its destruction. However, they didn't know that the US Navy had broken their codes and was ready for them. This version of the Battle of Midway has the historical missions defined.
