Single Battle -The Second Battle of Polotsk (80 turns, Medium) - October 18-19, 1812 - Possessing a superior force and with the French forces in retreat in the center, Wittgenstein decided to attack. He hoped to overwhelm the diminished French forces still in the Polotsk area, and possibly close the route of retreat for the main French army. Opposing him are the same corps that he fought in August. Both corps though has suffered much from the poor local conditions. The French have recently received replacements from march formations.
