Single Battle - The Historical Battle of Smolensk, Day 2 (48 turns, Large) - August 17, 1812 - After a reconnaissance the previous day and light skirmishing Napoleon is prepared to attack Russia's third city and hopefully destroy the Russian Army. Much of both armies begin the game fixed. As the Russian commander you must decide whether to continue defending Smolensk or attempt to escape with your army intact. Points are awarded for exiting at the selected exit hexes.
