Single Battle -The Battle of Tarutino, Where is Frederochs (40 turns, Medium) - October 18, 1812 - By Mid-October the Russian army had recovered sufficiently from the huge losses at Borodino to contemplate going on the offensive. Bennignsen had proposed a plan to destroy Murat and his overextended forces watching the Russian camp at Tarutino. The attack should have succeeded but was not pursued with sufficient energy. The battle did convince Napoleon to begin his withdrawal from Moscow, and the lack of a total Russian success meant the end of Bennignsen service with Kutusov. This scenario allows the possibility of the reinforcement of Frederochs' force located nearby force.
