2 October 1794 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This is the historical battle of Aldenhoven which followed the Battle of Fleurus. It was here that the Allies were defeated and driven back to and beyond the Rhine River. For a historical overview see the "RBR_Battles.pdf" file found in the main game folder. The Allies were trying to hold the Roer River but the superior numbers of French forces made that an impossibility.
