24 August 1796 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This is the historical battle of Amberg where Charles and Wartensleben's Austrian forces fought against Jourdan and the French army to cut them off from their retreat route to the northwest. For an historical overview see the "RBR_Battles.pdf" file found in the main game folder. The French must hold the key objectives in and around Amberg as long as possible.

The Austrians must be very aggressive to at the start and defeat the French in detail. If the French can keep their 6th division from getting destroyed at the beginning they can use their numbers advantage to keep the Austrians away from the VP hexes the Austrians need to win

Overall, I agree with Jim. One edit: in this scenario, the Austrians are little more than the French.
