2-3 September 1796 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This is the historical version of the battle of Würzburg where Charles crushed Jourdan's forces in the decisive battle of the 1796 Rhine Campaign. For an historical overview see the "RBR_Battles.pdf" file found in the main game folder. Players Note: This scenario is heavily biased in favor of the Austrians. It has been added for those that prefer to play the battle with only the troops on hand. The French must be very aggressive on the first day and it is suggested that they control the bridge near Schwarzenau (hex 349,125) by the end of the day to deny its use to Charles' reinforcements.
