25 March 1799 - Historical - Intended to be played Head to Head - This scenario depicts Jourdan's surprise attack on Charles' army at Stockach which resulted in a stunning defeat for the outnumbered French forces. Despite ambushing part of the Austrian right flank, the French could not make up in surprise for the superior numbers of Hapsburg troops. The French retreated to the west and Jourdan was removed from command soon afterwards. French Player Tip: Keep away from the Austrian left flank forces as long as you can and concentrate against the Advance Guard and Right Wing.
