25 September 1799 - Variant - Intended to be played Head to Head - This variant covers the first day of the First Battle of Zurich. Sacken's Reserve division is arriving at Zurich as the battle begins. Additional Russian forces will arrive from the north and two divisions of Hotze's Corps will arrive in the south. Menard's 6th French division will arrive in the north. Total force strength is 34k French vs. 30k Allies. The French player will want to move his engineer units to rebuild the bridge at Baden (hex 17, 14) so that Menard's division can cross the Limmat River and aid the army in the attack on Zurich.
