The Battle of Krefeld (Alt deployment) - In June 1758, Prince Ferdinand crossed the Rhine River by cutting across the far southern tip of the Netherlands. The French under the Comte de Clermont were drawn up in a very strong position south of Krefeld, with their position protected by a Landwehr which ran across the battlefield. Historically,Ferdinand left a force to the north to demonstrate against that flank. In this scenario, that force is deployed with Ferdinand's main force.
