Scenario Briefing: Ladenburg "What if" - Mansfeld defends at Ladenburg. This hypothetical scenario assumes that, instead of being persuaded by Tilly to remain at Wimpfen and defeat the now outnumbered Baden, Cordoba was determined to prevent the loss of the Spanish garrison at Ladenburg. In this "what if" scenario, the Bavarian Catholic League general Tilly decides to join the Spanish under Cordoba to attack Mansfeld's anti-Imperialist army besieging Ladenburg, hoping to crush his forces before Baden's troops can arrive on the battlefield.
