1445 27 May 1905. As the two fleets sailed parallel to each other in a northern direction, they traded blows. But the Russian fleet was taking the worse of the exchange. One by one ships dropped out of the Russian formation, unable to continue the fight. But for Rozhestvensky and his forces, there was no turning back.
