Scenario Briefing: (Hypothetical) As the siege progressed, Charles of Lorraine, the Imperial Commander considered attacking with the troops at hand, worried that the Polish forces would arrive too late for the city. This scenario assumes that the Polish troops were delayed, and that Charles felt that he had no choice.

Historically, when Kara Mustafa's scouts informed him how many troops the Allies had, he reinforced his defensive position. In this scenario, without the Poles being present, more troops will be left in the siege lines. The siege forces are fixed, and there are no troops in Vienna to prevent them from releasing the Ottoman forces. There are no VP hexes inside the city, but there are some at the entry points to simulate the Imperial forces goal of breaking the siege.

Note: Can be played as either side against the AI or Head-to-Head.
