Scenario Briefing: Historical - In an assault that made the name and reputation of Maurice de Saxe, who would go on to be one of the war's greatest figures, a Franco-Saxon force took the city of Prague by storm on the night of 25/26 November 1741. A diversionary attack under Polastron distracted the defenders, while attack columns under Saxe, Renard (whose men made a crossing of the Moldau by pontoon bridge) and Jasmund pushed home their assaults. The city fell, and its capture enabled the French to crown Karl Albrecht of Bavaria as King of Bohemia, the first step in his elevation to the status of Holy Roman Emperor.

Elements of the French cavalry fought dismounted for a portion of the action, and so the dragoon attribute is here given both to the three dragoon regiments in Saxe's column, and to the Carabiniers.
