Date: 9 May 1743 - Size: Medium - Location: Simbach am Inn, Bavaria
Scenario Briefing: Alternate - Minucci's Bavarian detachment was under orders to retreat in the face of the superior Austrian forces under Charles of Lorraine. Instead, he rashly chose to stand and fight against the Austrian advance guard under Berlichingen, calling up reinforcements to do so.
The result was a disaster that wrecked the Bavarian forces and saw Minucci and most of his subordinate commanders taken prisoner. The Austrians were subsequently able to invest Braunau and take other, French-held, towns.
This scenario involves the Bavarian garrison in Braunau but the main body of the Austrian army remains fixed.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Intended to be played as the Pragmatic Alliance against the Anti-Pragmatic AI, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head
