Scenario Briefing: What-if - Minucci's Bavarian detachment was under orders to retreat in the face of the superior Austrian forces under Charles of Lorraine. Instead, he rashly chose to stand and fight against the Austrian advance guard under Berlichingen, calling up reinforcements to do so.

The result was a disaster that wrecked the Bavarian forces and saw Minucci and most of his subordinate commanders taken prisoner. The Austrians were subsequently able to invest Braunau and take other, French-held, towns.

This what-if scenario has the bulk of the Austrian forces fixed, with variable release times. If the Bavarians stand and fight, will they be able to destroy a weak advance guard, or find themselves facing the whole Austrian army?
