Scenario Briefing: Alternate - After two months of stalemate outside Velletri, Austrian commander Lobkowitz elected to break the deadlock with a bold stroke. FML Browne, with a picked force of cavalry and infantry, made an overnight march to attack Velletri from the south. With the element of surprise, it was hoped that Carlo III, the Bourbon King of Naples, might be captured in his quarters.

In this alternative deployment, the Austrians are concentrated for a strike against the Spanish positions on Monte Artimisio as a first step to an assault on the positions around Velletri itself.

Intended to be played as the Pragmatic Alliance against the Anti-Pragmatic forces (Naples) AI, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head.
