Date: 4 June 1745 - Size: Medium - Location: Near Streigau, Silesia
Scenario Briefing: Historical - On June 3, a joint Hapsburg-Saxon force moved into an open area north of Streigau in Silesia. Sensing his opportunity, Frederick II gave orders for a night march to attempt to turn the enemy left and defeat them in detail. His men crossed the Streigauer-Wasser at a number of locations, but found that the enemy left was extended farther than they had anticipated.
The Prussians fed troops into the fight, largely defeating the Saxons before the Austrians could intervene. Then, the Bayreuth Dragoons launched one of the legendary cavalry charges in history, breaking the Austrian Infantry, and gaining Frederick II the title "the Great."
This variant scenario starts at 7.00, with the Prussian advance guard having already driven back the Saxon forces covering the allied left flank, and with Frederick's whole army now deployed for the attack.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Intended to be played as the Anti-Pragmatic forces against the Pragmatic Alliance AI, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head.
