Date: 30 September 1745 - Size: Medium - Location: Near Soor, Bohemia
Scenario Briefing: Hypothetical - After the battle of Hohenfriedberg, Frederick moved into Northern Bohemia, hoping to force the Austrians to the peace table. He was hanging along the northern border, eating from the countryside while plagued by the Austrian Light Forces while Charles shadowed him.
On September 30, Charles detected that Frederick had left the Graner-Koppe empty on his right flank. Charles utilized a Night March, and had the position by dawn. However, he did not press his advantage, and Frederick was able to rouse his forces and attack. In one of the hardest battles of the Silesian Wars, the Prussians drove the Austrians from the field.
This battle starts with Frederick in position to launch his first attack against the Austrians. The Austrian light forces that raided Frederick's camp, and the Prussian troops that defended it, are all freely available for commanders to employ as they wish.
Recommended Rules: [Default]
Intended to be played as the Anti-Pragmatic forces against the Pragmatic Alliance AI, but can be played from either side or Head-to-Head.
